Hey guys I have a ~8" SRA lift on my 07 Foreman 500S with 29.5's, well I broke a U-joint Saturday night and fixed and rode some more that night and I felt a pop that night while riding through a pond, while riding hard. Didn't know what to think...
Fast forward to Sunday...
Riding through a deeper pond just playing around water wheelie-ing and if I was really getting on it coming up a hill occasionally it would would just stop and not move until I put it in reverse to catch another tooth? or just plain rolled the tires. It never did this any other time. I had my buddy riding it and he said it did it to him and he tried to shift into 2nd and it still wouldn't go but I am not 100% positive he did shift into 2nd.
Sorry for the long post but I am wondering if this is typical of the 1st gear problems.
sounds like the good old honda 500 1st gear better get it fixed or you will be doing a top end job I got to fix mine and head cutter can help you on if need any info on how to fix it
