300 IRS questions




  Im building an irs set up on my 96 300. Im gonna run a flipped front diff just because i have like 3 perfect ones laying around. What hubs are the best to run and what all do i need to tie everything in on the rear?

grizzley hubs are the easiest/strongest to build with.

to tie everything in? just pipe and a welder. once you have that done I guess youll have to custom build a drive shaft.

thats the one thing that scares me about doing irs on mine the drive shaft. i can do the rest no problem but im not sure how to build a drive shaft...

Pending you guy's time frames, I'll be starting on mine within the next 1-2 months. I'll do a full write-up on it after I'm finished and post pics from along the way.

Grizzly spindles are definitely the easiest to use; if you're planning a big lift you need to decide if you think you're good enough to sleeve the axles, or if you're going to have to drop the $ with someone like Turner or Gorilla.
