2010 SRA Rancher lift!!

I understand the concept of cutting the A-arms and cutting the swing arm and extending them smile, but is there any special location that majority of people cut/extend? I'm looking for about 6-8" of lift and I understand that for 6" lift you extend 5" (so i figure for 8" you extend 7") also what metal do you use for the rear extender? (rectangular tubing) is it the shock relocation tabs/placement that you fabricate to get the lift for the rear? Not many people on here show pics on how to do the rear? confuse

In the front do you just cut down the middle of the A-arms, and weld extenders? (are you guys using solid tubing, or hollow?)  or fabricate complete new ones?

I have a plasma cutter, circular saw to cut through the pipes but which do you guys think would give the straightest/even cut? The welder is a miller matic mig welder 220v.

Hopefully you guys will be able to help so i can get out there this year before mudstock!
