Some material can be mounted on top of the old roof. For example, metal tiles or corrugated sheet metal can be installed on top of the old material. Everything is very individual. The old roof has to be taken off before work can start on installing a new one. To remove the roof properly and with little interruption and harm to the neighborhood, a roofing contractor will need to take a number of measures.
