I'm about to start build a lift for my foreman. I think I have everything in order except that i'm not sure what is the best way to build the tie rods. I hear it is easy mess it all up. Any in put or pics would help.
they are expensive i bought mine from summit for 85.00 shipped cuz i cant find a supplier i even have to order my high strength tubing online i found a place called onlinemetals.com thats pretty cheap you may check that out if you need any tubing
well i will find some places that you guys can get them online for cheap. i got 8 chromoly teflon lined ones for about 65 dollars at a local store. check out mcmastercar online and they have them for cheap. the only thing with the tie rods is you have to drill out the knuckles and steering stems.
You don't have to drill them out to use the 1/2" heims.
there in a place in shreveport but CATVOS keeps them bought out so just order mine 1/2 i found some greaseable 7/16 but they werent 3 piece i like the idea of being able to grease them.
I have a 8in lift on my foreman 500 and when i got the bike it was lifted but i made some adjustments to the lift, i believe it was done by CCP of Mississippi. The tie rods they ran on it were crappy and worn horribly, so i fabbed up some 85 ford ranger tie rod ends, they have grease zerks on them too.
