One or the other.... But either way they are opposite. When I put the ranchr diff and axle under it two years ago I had to flip it ...
Now that I went with brute diffs I had to flip the front... And the reason I said to use ac diffs is because of the angle that the brute diff put on the drive shaft The brute diff looks to the right in the rear and I had to twist it to get it to work Th ac diff has a straight pinion.
I thought about doing it and havin the rear on a seperate lever and having the option to link it to the front where it could steer either / / or crabwalk / / \ \ / /

Dude I just block the bike up where I want it to sit and build the lift, or bolt the axles in and build the lift... If youll notice, mine doesnt have a swingarm anymore... if i had to guess id say @ 6" longer?
im hoping to learn something here i have a 300 and i want to get it off the ground. right now she is sitting on the stock size tires and im working with no money... im just trying to get ideas and pictures and try to draw something out. i love my 300 but im worried about the front end i cant see how to lift it without binding the front shafts. and it looked like you changed your front diff. is it the same as the rear? and ya i have already come up with the rear diff being at an angle like that one is i cant find a way around it.

Big lifts basically are nothing more than extended a-arms and axles. They run the arms/axles at around the same angle as a bolt-on 1.5-2" lift would, the additional height is gained by lengthening the components. The more height, the wider the bike gets(as obvious from the pics).
Depending on you/your welder's skill and how hard you work the bike, sleeved(extended) stock axles may or may not hold. Custom aftermarket axles normally cost $400+ each.
If you do not have substantial fabrication and welding skills of your own, this is not a project you even want to consider with limited funds.

why didnt you run the 360 prirrir front diff. it turns the right way alread/ its smaller/ and your stock 300 front axles will work in it. i was thinking about running that front diff with bayou 400 rear rear diff. just for the gears. the 300 rear drive shaft will work on the 400 pinnin gear.
