on the 4man 450 he use 3/4 so Im sure he use the same for the 300

Just use 3/4" schedule 40 gas pipe. If you can find the import pipe versus the american, "I" would get that. With my experiance, the import pipe bends alot smoother. Just my .02

it widens the area for ground clearence between the a-arms
so they will go across  a wider rut with out draggin
