I can jack my rear tires off the ground and leave the front tires on the ground and I can spin the rear tires 8 or 9 full turns before the locker kicks in so what the hell is up with it

Hello. I am wondering if anyone can help me I have a 1999 450S and last year installed a Detroit gearless locker it worked awsome best mod I've ever done. My question is that now my DGL doesn't work well, I had water in it once before put new oil and friction modifier and it worked fine, now I am experiencing three wheel drive sometimes usually the right side does nothing but will catch once in a while and have power to that wheel, This weekend I went for a ride and seen the front diff not engage at all only 2wd, then it came back all wheels were spinning after about 8 rotations from rear wheels. today I took the front diff apart and found nothing broken and no dirt everything looks good. Any suggestions of help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

btw I didnt put the Locker Friction Additive in it you think if I put that in there would it start working again or should I rebuild it

Mine was acting up and I put fresh Mobil synthetic along with a limited slip additive and has since cleared up and working perfectly. I think that there was some water in friction plates that had to be worked out with fresh oil.
