hey headcutter how exactly did you make those axles on that 300 and whats the angle coming out of the front diff. the reason i ask is my lift is getting close to being done and needa be sure on how to do this any help will b great
The bars were sleeved, but I bought new bars now. The front axles are at 39 degrees. If you want to sleeve your bars, just get some schedule 80 seamless pipe that fits tight over the bar. Then weld it up, and also plug weld it.
Yes, and 39 is alot steeper than most people run but I wanted mine narrow. More angle = less axle reliability. It is a personal choice. I ran my foreman axles steep and never broke one.
ok heres another question for you if you dont mind i got like a 12 inch lift going on if i keep it 35 degrees on the axles however i dont like the width it sticks out if i went with turner or gorilla could i get a greater angle like hi 30's or low 40's just kinda thinkin what i could do to get it where i'm satisfies
Different cv's will take different angles. If I remember right, (dont quote me) on a stock honda inner the bar hits the cup around 27-28. Also, I don't believe you will ever have any reliability out of the rear axles at 40+ degrees. You can get away with it on the front. This doesn't apply if you are lifting a straight axle.
