i have a 05 rancher that needs more power, i have an K&N air filter, Dyno jet kit, HMF exhaust pipe, snorkeled out and would like more juice for mud holes. anything helps
I HAVE BASICALLY THE SAME SET UP MINUS THE 2" LIFT. MY TIRES ARE 26 X 10 X 12 INNOVA LUGS. I WANNA PUT SOME 28 X 12 X 12 ITP MUDLITES. THEY WEIGH ONE POUND MORE EACH THAN THE TIRES I HAVE RIGHT NOW. I CAN SPIN EM ALL RIGHT BUT NOT IN THE THICK STUFF. I'M SURE A WARN 424 WOULD HELP. ALSO I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE HAS EVER DONE A GEAR REDUCTION ON A RANCHER BUT I SURE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT.
I don't like the big bore kits personally I can't get one to keep a set of rings. There is a guy on highlifter that has made some gear reduction for the 350 rancher though. I can't remember his name though. just search it on there and he might be able to help you out. Other than that the only way to get more power is pull the motor and start feeding it some parts.
yea thats him his name is james i've seen his gear reduction in a bike before it works well the only thing is the bike makes a whining/mild grinding noise now. idk if its just how it is or the person who put it in didnt do it right but i know it doesnt sound healthy
jgmood050, if you dont mind me asking what all is done to yours? I have a 04 350, K&N, dyno jet kit, snorkle, and 25" outlaws. I have a problem spinning them sometimes in this thick FL mud
