rancher needs more power

I HAVE BASICALLY THE SAME SET UP MINUS THE 2" LIFT. MY TIRES ARE 26 X 10 X 12 INNOVA LUGS. I WANNA PUT SOME 28 X 12 X 12 ITP MUDLITES. THEY WEIGH ONE POUND MORE EACH THAN THE TIRES I HAVE RIGHT NOW. I CAN SPIN EM ALL RIGHT BUT NOT IN THE THICK STUFF. I'M SURE A WARN 424 WOULD HELP. ALSO I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE HAS EVER DONE A GEAR REDUCTION ON A RANCHER BUT I SURE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT.

the only thing i can think of is a clutch kit, other than that you can pull the motor and port and polish and put a bunch of goodies in it.

I don't like the big bore kits personally I can't get one to keep a set of rings. There is a guy on highlifter that has made some gear reduction for the 350 rancher though. I can't remember his name though. just search it on there and he might be able to help you out. Other than that the only way to get more power is pull the motor and start feeding it some parts.

yea thats him his name is james i've seen his gear reduction in a bike before it works well the only thing is the bike makes a whining/mild grinding noise now. idk if its just how it is or the person who put it in didnt do it right but i know it doesnt sound healthy

You could just cut the top off the frame, lift it 1.5inches, and put a 450 engine in it...

Mine spins the 31's like nothing...

jgmood050, if you dont mind me asking what all is done to yours?
I have a 04 350, K&N, dyno jet kit, snorkle, and 25" outlaws. I have a problem spinning them sometimes in this thick FL mud

it a 450 engine with a 6ml stroke, a 0.40 over piston, a cam, a ported head, a 300/400ex carb and a gear reduction.

a good port job would help ya.

i got pleanty of pwer in my 350 rancher i got a clutch kit cam bored warn 4-2-4 jet kit and fmf pipe and it turns my 28 laws in any hole

i put my buddys franks on it and it dont have the slightest little problem turning them...=) my tires r in im waitn to get paid so i can go get them
