I have heard some talk about filling the rear diff with grease instead of oil. I'm wondering what yall think about this. I like the idea of it being as you don't have to change fluids and it seems like it would protect more if you got water in the vent line.
I run grease in gearbox on my travelers"irrigation "because it is under constant water. it would work in an atv but not for high speed.plus grease will sling off the ring gear making it hard to get enough in the case to keep it running in it at all times.
