??? on tie rods ???

the lift and bike is running great           except when i get in a pinch the bike will throw a tire off line bad by turning the heim joint on the knuckle.   i got the biggest bolts i can get through there and tighten them as tight as i can but it will still turn on the knuckle.  is there any fixes for this or do i need to find some tie rod ends to replace the hiem joints so they will be press in the knuckle instead of just lying on top of the knuckle             please help

Can't say that I have ever had that problem. Are you running 3/8" hardware?

you can weld a 3/8 flat washer on the top and bottom of the knuckle where the stock tierod end would originally would go. Then put a 3/8 bolt through it.

when you lock your hiem joints down do so in a manner that they oppose eachother
this will keep them from 'turning' or "flopping".

Wouldn't that restrict articulation of the heims? Resulting in large turning radius?

where do you guys get your hiem joints?
and are they already opposite of each other or do they have to be rethreaded?
also about how much do they cost?

It might not be your time rods. My bike was doing the same thing and it was the nut that holds it on the steering stim kept backing off. I just put some lock tight and it's been good ever since
