tie rods are a bitch... I use a 1/2' right hand thread male hiem joint, then take a 1/2"x20 lugnut(mag wheel style) and weld it in to my 3/4" pipe(makes a socket) i get them at summit racing.

you just need to bend the pipe so that the hiem joint lays almost flat to keep it from getting into a bind.

you will also need a 1/2"x 3/8" bushing to go through the hiem(lowes)
and some 3/8"x2.5" grade eight bolts with lock washers and lock nuts.(also at lowes)

now what i do is take eight plain 1/2" lugs nuts and drill out the centers so the 1/2" x 3/8" bushing will fit through. Then i put one on each side of the hiem so that it will pivot with out hitting the steering parts. kinda like a missalignment shim.
you may have to trim the bushing so that it fits flush with the nut/hiem combo.

Dont try it. Ive been there and it didn't work. I talked to some other people about it and they said they couldn't get it to work either. I wouldn't waste my time if I was you.

there is no easy way on a 300... junk it and buy a 450

the brute force or the artic cat 4.0 diff is your best bet.
either way you have to flip the front diff, make new mounts, and build drive shafts.

hubs? grizzly is the strongest...

if you run the brut rear diff i would use kaw 360 prirrie front diff. you dont have to flip it and the 300 honda front axles will fit in the diff
