making a front diff lock?

i was wondering how hard it is if possible to do some welding on a front diff to make it be permanantely locked because they dont make a spool locker for the big bear diff and i have a front diff on the rear of the bike and i was wondering if i could just do some precise welding to make it permanantely locked lmk what you know

It may work, youd have to really clean it and get a lot of weld surface to make things hold.

your best bet is to get a front diff. off of a newer big bear. cause they have diff. locks on them.
