To be honest, I found out about this when I began to study very subtly information about the currency and how you can make money on it, and especially about conversion! A currency is convertible if residents and non-residents (foreigners) have the right to exchange it in unlimited quantities for another currency or banking metals. Here is the site https://exrates.pro where you can see the currency ratio in different countries. Enjoy!
